Medome ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting
your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and
safeguard your information when you use Medome Men — the website at medomemen.com, the
web application at app.medomemen.com, and the Medome Men mobile applications for iOS and
Android (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this
Privacy Policy.
Medome Men is a men's sexual-health coaching program. Because of what it is, most of what you share with it is health information. This Policy is specific about what that information is, where it goes, and where it never goes.
1Who We Are#
Medome Men is operated by Medome. Our main website is https://medome.ai; the Medome Men website is https://medomemen.com. For the general Medome platform, a separate Privacy Policy applies at https://medome.ai/privacy-policy.
2Information We Collect#
2.1 Account Information
- Your email address, and the name and email address your sign-in provider shares with us when you sign in with Google or Apple.
- A one-time code sent to your email when you sign in with email; we do not store a password.
- Your subscription status and plan.
2.2 Health Information You Give Us
This is the core of the Services, and you provide it deliberately, screen by screen:
- Your assessment. The concern you chose (your "door"), how long it has been going on, your age range, medications and health conditions you tick, and your answers to the clinical questionnaires the program uses (for example, validated instruments for erectile function, premature ejaculation, sexual desire, and mood). We compute a baseline score from these answers.
- Your daily check-ins, re-measurements every four weeks, and the program days you mark as done or missed.
- Your conversations with the coach. Messages you send to the Medome Men coach and the coach's replies are stored with your account so the coach can follow your progress.
- Flags and referrals. When your answers or messages indicate something that needs a clinician — or an emergency — we record that a referral was shown to you.
We never ask for, and you should not upload, photographs or free-text medical records in Medome Men.
2.3 Payment Information
- On the web, subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details; we receive only a customer reference, your plan, the status of your subscription, and the amounts charged or refunded. We do not store full card numbers.
- On iOS and Android, subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed on our side through RevenueCat. We receive the subscription status and product, never your payment method.
2.4 Usage and Device Data
- An anonymous identifier (a random string) created on your device before you have an account, so the assessment you begin can be linked to the account you create afterwards.
- Product events: which screens and program steps you reached, whether you finished the assessment, saw the paywall, started checkout, and similar milestones; your browser family; how long a session lasted. These events never contain your questionnaire answers, your scores, your messages, or any flag by name — they carry step names and closed categories only.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and error reports sent to our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) when something breaks.
2.5 Where You Came From (Attribution)
When you arrive from an advertisement, an email, or a link, the address may carry campaign
parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), an
advertising click identifier (gclid from Google, fbclid from Meta), and the referring
site's host name. We store these on your device and with your anonymous identifier so we can
tell which campaign brought you. We keep the first arrival and the most recent one. If you
buy a subscription, the campaign that brought you is recorded with the purchase in Stripe.
2.6 Cookies
The Services use the following cookies and local storage on your device:
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| `medome-man.session_token` and related sign-in cookies | Keeps you signed in | Session, or as set at sign-in |
| `medome-man.campaign` | Remembers a marketing link you followed, so the offer it opened stays with you | 30 days |
| `mm_visitor` | A random visitor id used to assign you to one of the paywall variants we test | 1 year |
| `mm_attribution` | The campaign parameters described in 2.5 | 90 days |
| Local storage (`mmp-*` keys) | Your anonymous identifier, the assessment you began before signing up, and small preferences | Until you clear it or delete your account |
The mobile applications keep the same identifiers in secure device storage instead of cookies.
2.7 The Medome Men Website
The marketing website at medomemen.com uses Google Tag Manager to load Google
Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel, and the Google Ads tag. These measure page views,
which sections you viewed, and clicks on the buttons that lead to the application. These
tags are not loaded inside the application (app.medomemen.com or the mobile apps), and
no health information is ever sent to Google or Meta. See Section 5.
3How We Use Your Information#
We use the information we collect to:
- Run the assessment, compute your baseline, build your 12-week program, and adapt it to your daily check-ins and re-measurements.
- Operate the coach, including generating its replies (see Section 4).
- Show you clinician or emergency guidance when your answers call for it.
- Process subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
- Send you the notifications you choose (see Section 7).
- Understand how the Services are used — which steps people abandon, which offer works — and improve them.
- Measure our advertising, so we know which campaign brought which visitor.
- Detect abuse, secure the Services, and comply with law.
3.1 Marketing Communications
We may use your email address to send you product updates, offers, and other Medome Men content ("Marketing Communications"). Where applicable law requires it, we will obtain your consent first; elsewhere we rely on our legitimate interest in promoting our Services.
You may opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or by writing to service@medome.ai. Opting out does not stop essential Service messages (account, security, billing, and legal notices).
The subject line and preview text of our emails never name the category of the program — what appears on a locked screen or in a shared inbox says nothing about why you use Medome Men.
If you joined the pre-launch waiting list, your address is held in Mailchimp and is used only to tell you the product is available and for the communications described here.
4The Coach and Artificial Intelligence#
The Medome Men coach is powered by large language models. To generate a reply, the messages you send to the coach, together with the parts of your program and assessment the coach needs for context, are transmitted to OpenAI through its API.
- OpenAI processes that content only to generate the reply. Under OpenAI's API data-usage terms, content sent through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models, and is retained by OpenAI only for a limited period for abuse monitoring.
- If we add another model provider, we will update this Policy before your data reaches it.
- The coach is not a clinician. When your messages describe symptoms that need a doctor or an emergency, the coach stops coaching and shows you clinician or emergency guidance. We do not contact emergency services on your behalf.
- You may turn the coach's conversational "small talk" off in Settings; the daily check-in continues to work without it.
5What We Do Not Do with Health Information#
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not send health information to advertising platforms. Google and Meta receive events from the marketing website only (page views, section views, button clicks). Inside the application there are no advertising tags. Our own product events are built so that they cannot carry an answer, a score, or a flag.
- We do not share your data with employers, insurers, or clinicians unless you ask us to.
- Where we use de-identified, aggregated data (for example, how many men finish the assessment), it cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
6Sharing of Information#
We share information with:
- Service providers who process it on our behalf: Google Cloud (hosting and databases, in the United States), Stripe (payments, web), RevenueCat, Apple and Google (payments, mobile), the AI model providers in Section 4, SendGrid (email), Twilio (SMS), Sentry (error monitoring), and Mailchimp (waiting list and marketing email).
- Sign-in providers: Google and Apple, when you choose to sign in with them.
- Advertising platforms: only the marketing-website events described in Section 2.7.
- Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Medome, our users, or the public.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, under this Policy.
7Communications#
With your consent where required, we may contact you by email, SMS, or mobile push notification about your program (daily check-in reminders, re-measurement windows), your account and subscription (trial ending, renewal, payment problems), security, and legal or policy updates. You control push and SMS notifications in the application's Settings and on your device. You can opt out of marketing as described in 3.1.
8Data Retention#
- Your account, assessment, program, check-ins, and coach conversations are kept for as long as your account exists.
- Product events and attribution (Sections 2.4 and 2.5) are kept in our analytics store indefinitely. They are built so that they cannot contain health information — only step names, closed categories, and campaign parameters — and after you delete your account they are no longer linked to any account.
- Payment records are kept as long as tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention law requires.
- When you delete your account (Section 11), the data above is deleted, except where we must retain it by law.
9International Transfers#
We are based in the United States and our providers process data there. If you use the Services from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, with contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the transfer.
10Your Rights#
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
You can exercise the most important ones directly in the application:
- Export your data — Settings → Export my data downloads a file with your account, assessment, program, check-ins, and coach conversations.
- Delete your account — Settings → Delete account removes your account and all of the data above immediately (Section 11).
For anything else, or if you cannot access the application, write to service@medome.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10.1 Residents of California and Other U.S. States
Under the CCPA/CPRA and similar state laws you have the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of information we collect and disclose (Sections 2 and 6) and to opt out of "sales" and "sharing" — which we do not do. We treat health information as sensitive personal information and use it only for the purposes in Section 3.
10.2 Consumer Health Data (Washington, Nevada, and Similar Laws)
Because Medome Men collects consumer health data, we provide this notice under the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws. The categories of health data we collect are in Section 2.2; the purposes in Section 3; the recipients in Sections 4 and 6. We collect it only as necessary to provide the program you ask for: every item is entered by you, screen by screen, and the screen before you register tells you what is stored and that you can export or delete it. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it for advertising. You may withdraw consent and request deletion at any time as described in Section 10.
11Account Deletion#
You may delete your account in the application at any time (Settings → Delete account). You may also request deletion by writing to service@medome.ai. Upon a valid request we delete your account and associated personal data, except information we must keep to comply with legal obligations (for example, payment records) or to resolve disputes. Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on the web and removes your customer record at Stripe. Deleting the application from your device does not delete your account, and deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play — cancel it there as well.
12Security#
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, separate storage of health data and analytics, and monitoring. Our product analytics are designed so that health information cannot enter them.
We protect your health information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, and the consumer health data laws in Section 10.2 apply to it in full. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13Children#
The Services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact service@medome.ai and we will delete it.
14Changes to This Privacy Policy#
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, with a new effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will notify you by email or in the application before it takes effect.
