Terms of Service

Effective September 17, 202614 chaptersAbout 9 min readQuestions? service@medome.ai

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Medome ("Medome," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of Medome Men — the website at medomemen.com, the web application at app.medomemen.com, and the Medome Men mobile applications (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1Eligibility and Accounts#

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is designed for men and for the concerns described in the assessment.

1.2 You may sign in with your email address (by one-time code), with Google, or with Apple. You are responsible for the security of the email account and devices you use to sign in, and for all activity under your account. You may not create an account for anyone else or use another person's account. Notify us at service@medome.ai immediately of any unauthorized use.

1.3 You agree to give us accurate information in the assessment and to keep your account information current. The program is built from your answers; inaccurate answers produce an inaccurate program.

2What the Service Is, and Is Not#

2.1 A coaching program, not medical care. Medome Men provides a structured 12-week program of education, daily practices, check-ins, and periodic re-measurement, delivered with an AI coach. The assessment uses validated questionnaires to establish a baseline and track change. All of this is for informational and self-management purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician. Never delay, ignore, or discontinue professional care because of anything in the Service.

2.2 The coach is software. The coach's replies are generated by artificial-intelligence models. They can be wrong. The coach does not have a medical license, does not know your medical history beyond what you enter, and cannot examine you. Treat its replies as educational content, not clinical judgment.

2.3 Referrals. When your answers or messages indicate a condition that should be evaluated by a clinician, the Service will tell you so and stop coaching on that point. When they indicate an emergency, the Service will tell you to seek emergency help. The Service does not monitor you and does not contact emergency services. If you are in crisis, in the United States call or text 988; in an emergency call 911.

2.4 Limitations on use. You may not use the Service to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition; during a medical emergency; as a substitute for care from a licensed professional; or to manage a mental-health crisis.

2.5 No clinical services in Medome Men. Medome Men itself provides no consultations, prescriptions, laboratory tests, or telehealth. Where the Service refers you to a clinician or to the general Medome platform, those services are governed by their own terms. The Service is not health insurance and we make no representation about insurance coverage. Whether your subscription can be paid with a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account is decided by your plan administrator, and may require a Letter of Medical Necessity from your physician; we do not guarantee eligibility.

3Subscriptions, Trials, and Payment#

3.1 Plans. The Service is sold as a subscription: monthly (currently $14.50 per month) or annual (currently $149 per year), in U.S. dollars, plus applicable taxes. Prices are shown at purchase and may change for future renewals with notice.

3.2 Where you buy. On the web, subscriptions are billed by Stripe. On iOS and Android, subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms, and are managed, canceled, and refunded through them.

3.3 Free trial. Some offers include a free trial (currently 7 days). A payment method is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial your subscription begins and your payment method is charged the plan price unless you cancel before the trial ends. One trial per person; a person who has had a trial is charged at once on a later purchase, whatever the offer shown.

3.4 Introductory offers. Some offers reduce the price of the first billing period. After that period the plan renews at the regular price.

3.5 Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You authorize us (or Apple or Google) to charge your payment method on each renewal.

3.6 Cancellation. You may cancel at any time — on the web through Settings → Manage billing (Stripe's billing portal), on mobile through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then. Deleting your account or the application does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.

3.7 Money-back guarantee. For subscriptions bought on the web, if you are not satisfied you may request a full refund within 30 days of your first charge by writing to service@medome.ai — no questions, no hoops. One guarantee per person. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are governed by Apple's and Google's policies. Beyond the guarantee, charges are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

3.8 Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend access until it is resolved. Update your payment method in the billing portal to restore access.

4Your Content and Your Data#

4.1 Your data stays yours. The answers, check-ins, and messages you enter ("Your Data") belong to you. You grant Medome a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Your Data only to provide, secure, and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use Your Data for marketing to third parties, and we do not sell it.

4.2 De-identified data. You agree that we may create and use de-identified and aggregated data (data that cannot reasonably be linked to you) for research, product improvement, and reporting, and that such data is not Your Data.

4.3 Export and deletion. You may export Your Data and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

4.4 Your responsibility. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Do not enter another person's health information.

5Acceptable Use#

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access another person's account or data; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service; use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access it; reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of it; use the coach, its replies, or any content of the Service to build a competing product or to train or develop machine-learning models; interfere with the Service or other users; or misrepresent your identity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6Intellectual Property#

The Service — its software, program content, coach personas, design, and trademarks including "Medome" and "Medome Men" — belongs to Medome or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

7Third-Party Services#

The Service relies on third parties: Stripe, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat for billing; Google Cloud for hosting; AI model providers for the coach; and email, SMS, and push providers for notifications. Your use of those services is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, or content linked from the Service.

8Electronic Communications#

You consent to receive communications from us electronically — by email, SMS, and push notification — including account, billing, security, and legal notices, and program reminders. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time; you cannot opt out of essential Service notices while you hold an account. Message and data rates may apply to SMS.

9Disclaimer of Warranties#

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT THE COACH'S REPLIES WILL BE ACCURATE, OR THAT THE PROGRAM WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT. WE MAY MODIFY OR DISCONTINUE THE SERVICE OR ANY PART OF IT AT ANY TIME. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10Limitation of Liability#

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDOME AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, HOWEVER CAUSED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE U.S. DOLLAR. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE THE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT THEM.

11Indemnification#

You agree to indemnify and hold Medome harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12Dispute Resolution and Governing Law#

12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

12.2 Mandatory arbitration. You agree to resolve any dispute with us through binding arbitration and waive your right to a class action or jury trial, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and Medome agree that any dispute resolution proceedings, whether in arbitration or in court, shall be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

12.3 Opt-out. You may opt out of this provision within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing service@medome.ai.

12.4 Nothing in this Section prevents you from bringing a complaint to a government agency.

13Termination#

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where practical. Sections 4.2, 6, and 9 through 14 survive termination. Termination does not by itself refund any charge except as Section 3.7 provides.

14General Terms#

14.1 Changes. We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the application before they take effect; continued use after that date is acceptance. Otherwise, changes take effect when posted with a new effective date.

14.2 Entire agreement; severability; assignment. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Medome about the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

14.3 App stores. If you obtained the mobile application from the Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them, and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the application.

14.4 Contact. Questions about these Terms: service@medome.ai.
